I know Katrin through her coaching services. She is incredibly intuitive and skilled at pinpointing blocks/barriers that are holding up progress with life goals. She is great at navigating the right questions to get more insight into issues that we review.
I also really appreciate her warm and empathetic style that is never pushy and is always encouraging. I find working with a coach provides me that extra motivation/inspiration to tackle what I want to accomplish rather than procrastination. I have worked with several coaches before and really prefer her style. Plus, she has an amazing background doing bodywork which has helped me immensely with health goals.

Normally I would not reach out to a coach. It is just not my style, but somehow the stars aligned last May. I had always taken my health for granted but turning 69 this year I realized that it will take a bit of work on my part to keep my body in shape to do some of the things I still want to do.
I have taken on diet and exercise changes before, but the child within has always seemed to win and I usually end up falling off the wagon before I get halfway to any goal. Katrin just happened to come along at just the right time so I decided to give coaching a try.
I don’t know how she did it, but she managed to get me to come up with ways to approach my habits that I had never thought of before. Without ever telling me what I should do, but by asking questions, she got me to see ways where I could make little adjustments that would help shift my behavior without feeling I had given up anything. Everything I did was my idea.
Before working with Katrin, I had a rather combative situation between what I would call my adult self and my childish self. What Katrin did was help me shift the way I saw these two parts of myself to something less judgmental and combative which was from “good adult” vs “bad child” to the part of me interested in long term and this moment. It was a simple shift that has made a huge difference.
Now, when making decisions about what I want to eat or my activity of the day, I am aware of whether or not I am serving the long term or the moment. There is no good or bad, right or wrong decision. It is not one thing versus another…it is all me.
Needless to say, I can’t thank Katrin enough for her help. It turns out, you CAN teach old dogs new tricks. After seven sessions I can honestly say that some new habits have been created that serve the long term.
